Many popular proverbs are correct when applied to life'scircumstances. But when proverbs are viewed withoutqualification, they cancel each other out. For instance,it's often true that "too many cooks spoil the broth", thereare time s when "two heads are better than one". Read on,because?..

That is a nice collection and observation Prashant, good one!!!
Its interesting that there are so many proverbs and so many of them contradicting each other... What is needed when one has to shift from one of the proverb to its duelling one is use his common sense.
Generally we use one of the proverb and stick to it... but the truth is there is also the other side of the coin... we have to know when to look at the other phase of the coin, else we will end up overdoing and think that the proverb is wrong....
Just want to say -
"
If at first you don't succeed, try, try again.
But
Don't beat a dead horse.
"
