A blind boy sat on the steps of a building with a hat by his feet. Heheldup a sign which said: "I am blind, please help." There were only a fewcoins in the hat.

A man was walking by. He took a few coins from his pocket and droppedtheminto the hat. He then took the sign, turned it around, and wrote somewords. He put the sign back so that everyone who walked by would see thenew words.

Soon the hat began to fill up. A lot more people were giving money totheblind boy. That afternoon the man who had changed the sign came to seehowthings were. The boy recognized his footsteps and asked, "Were u the onewho changed my sign this morning? What did u write?"

The man said, "I only wrote the truth. I said what u said but in adifferent way."What he had written was:
"Today is a beautiful day & I cannot see it."

Do u think the first sign & the second sign were saying the same thing?Ofcourse both signs told people the boy was blind. But the first signsimplysaid the boy was blind. The second sign told people they were so luckythatthey were not blind. Should we be surprised that the second sign wasmoreeffective?

Moral of the Story:
Be thankful for what you have.Be creative. Be innovative. Think differently and positively. Invite thepeople towards good with wisdom.

That was a very nice lesson Ramesh... but practically it it the toughest thing to do - "Think differently".

In the present situation of our growth, its really hard to think differently. All along in the school you are taught to think in a traditional n already established way of thought.... we hardly get appreciated at finding something unique... some of this is because the teacher is frightened the student will overtake him and partly because the teacher might be criticised for some such suggestion. We have to develop this habit of thinking different regularly to ensure that we have innovation... innovation need not always be original... it can be taken from already existing similar situations. The point is we have to train ourselves to think differently in this conventional world to stay ahead.

Thanks again to get the point... Telling the same thing in a different way... is one of the ways to get different thoughts into action.

We have to be brave enough to take the trouble of being eccentric in thought to be an innovator. Its only thouse who can think diffently that make a lot of innovation.
